One data source, two ways in
Your developer writes the call once; your AI agent then answers every new question after that, in plain language. Both draw on the same resources (accounts, transactions, invoices, cash flow).
An API to plug in your tools
Your developers query Okimia like any other API: HTTP requests, structured responses, secured by a token. Once written, the call runs unattended, to sync your balances into your ERP, feed a dashboard, or watch a threshold.
An MCP server for your AI agents
MCP is a standard protocol that lets an AI assistant use Okimia's capabilities directly, with no developer needed to build anything. A team member just asks a question in plain language and the assistant looks up, cross-references, and calculates the answer itself.
Access scoped company by company
Each token is generated from your Okimia account and stays tied to a single company and to only the permissions it needs. Both the API and the MCP server are read-only today: enough to check your treasury position, not enough to trigger a transfer or create an invoice on your behalf.

What's the difference between the API and the MCP server?
The API is for code written by a developer: HTTP requests, JSON responses. The MCP server is for an AI assistant used in plain language, which can chain several calls on its own to answer a question. Both draw on the same data.
Can the API or the MCP server trigger actions, like a transfer?
Not today. Both are read-only: they let you check your accounts, transactions, invoices, or forecast, but no action (transfer, invoice creation) can be triggered through them.
How do I get access?
The token is generated directly from your Okimia account, under "API Keys." It's tied to your company and to the permissions you grant it.
Is this compatible with Claude, ChatGPT, or another assistant?
